Dominique Aarts worked for 25 years as a judge at the District Court and the Court of Appeal, both in The Hague. During those years, she regularly acted as an arbitrator and binding advisor. In 2024 she left the Court of Appeal as a full time judge and focusses now on arbitration and binding advice. She still acts as deputy-judge. In the further past, Dominique worked at a law firm and as a law clerk at the Dutch Supreme Court.
